Habitat Builders Bowl
Overview:
Fayette County Habitat for Humanity presents the Habitat Builders Bowl, a spirited competition between the Aggies and Longhorns. Supporters from Texas A&M University and the University of Texas Austin will go head-to-head in a fundraising challenge leading up to the legendary TEX vs. TAMU football game in November. Every dollar raised will help provide safe, affordable housing for families in need in Fayette County.
How It Works:
1. Pick Your Side: Are you an Aggie or a Longhorn? Choose your allegiance and join your team.
2. Raise Funds: Throughout the month leading up to the TEX vs. TAMU game in November, both teams will raise money to support Fayette County Habitat for Humanity.
3. Track Your Progress: We'll keep a running tally of how much each team has raised. Check the leaderboard to see who's ahead!
4. The Big Reward: The team that raises the most will be crowned the Habitat Builders Bowl Champion! Winning comes with bragging rights and the winning team's name being etched onto the official Builders Bowl trophy which we be displayed at Habitat Home Supply in Schulenburg.
Key Dates:
- Fundraising Period: October 10th – November 25th (leading up to the TEX vs. TAMU game)
- Game Day: November 26, 2024
- Trophy Presentation: December 2, 2024
How to Participate:
1. Donate: Support your team by making a donation on their designated fundraising page.
2. Share: Rally your fellow alumni, friends, and family to join the cause. Use #HabitatBuildersBowl on social media to spread the word!
3. Watch the Game: Tune in on game day, knowing you've made a difference for families in need.

The Trophy:
The Habitat Builders Bowl trophy will be displayed at the winning team’s local alumni organization, representing their victory and commitment to giving back to the community.
